Treasurer of the Bayt al-Mal
Abdullah ibn Arqam served as treasurer of the Bayt al-Mal under both Abu Bakr رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُHazrat Abu Bakr as-Siddiqرَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُFirst Caliph; the Prophet's closest companion and Umar رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُHazrat Umar ibn al-Khattabرَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُSecond Caliph; al-Farooq, who expanded the Islamic state. The Jalula Spoils
