Freed at Ta’if
Abu Bakra was a slave at Ta’if. A Narrator of the Ummah
He settled in Basra and became a prolific narrator of the Prophet’s ﷺ words — among them the Prophet’s ﷺ warning about Musaylama as one of the great liars and his words on the Dajjal and the guarding of Madinah. 2 Hayatus Sahaba · Vol 3 · pp. 424 — Kandhlawi — Abu Bakra narrates the Prophet's warning about Musaylama and the Dajjal. He died in Basra.
